Amy, a RI AEMT-Cardiac, has worked at Brown EMS since 2002 and has been the Chief since 2007. Other EMS experience includes the Warren Fire Department, where Amy served as a Rescue Lieutenant for more than seven years and was also active with the Special Hazards Unit and the Marine Rescue Unit. Before EMS consumed her, Amy taught high school English, middle school English, and adult education courses for many years, so you may notice a few random literary quotes inserted into the course content. Amy is also an Adjunct Faculty in the Paramedic Technology Associates Degree Program at New England Institute of Technology and an aspiring organic farmer.

Ethan is a rising senior from San Jose, California studying neuroscience. He is a BLS supervisor at Brown EMS. He has been working at BEMS since his sophomore year and taught the summer course last year. He enjoys fishing, kayaking, and thinking about what he is going to eat for his next meal.

Hannah is a rising senior from Southern California concentrating in Applied Mathematics - Biology. At Brown EMS, she is Co-Director and a BLS supervisor. She took this EMT course the summer after her freshman year and was a Skills Instructor last summer. Hannah does research in a developmental neuroscience lab and plays flute in the Brown Orchestra. In her free time, she enjoys sitting in the sun and spending time with friends.

Amanda is a rising senior from Los Angeles, California studying Public Health. At Brown EMS, she is a BLS supervisor and Co-Director. Amanda enjoys yoga, biking, cooking, and exploring coffee shops. This is her second summer teaching the course, and she's excited to work with you all!
