BrownConnect+ is the new, central hub for Brown Alumni to connect, volunteer, mentor, and build community. Through BC+, Group Administrators can:
Send emails
Post Community News and Announcements
Create and manage events in one platform
Participate in social media-like forums
Link directly to the group’s social media and external websites
If you have any issues accessing your account, don't hesitate to contact the BC+ helpdesk for assistance via the BrownConnect+ Support Request Form.
We will continue to offer administrator-specific live training after launch. Look out for upcoming dates!

If you have additional questions, you may submit a ticket to the BC+ Support Request Form. The BrownConnect+ Support Form is monitored regularly with normal response times within one business day.
BRAVO (Brown Alumni Volunteers Online) was Brown's former volunteer communications tool. BRAVO will be deactivated as of 9/30/2024.
The new platform is BrownConnect+.
Keep the homepage simple yet eye-catching.
Short phrases, with only the most urgent/upcoming/relevant information for class
Set calendar reminders to remove material when it is dated
Include class logo
A nostalgic class or group photo was taken at the Reunion/Commencement weekend.
A collage of photos
Put social media links on the homepage - links are on the Alumni and Friends Classes community page.
Websites are a good resource during the year leading up to Reunions, so always keep a save-the-date on the site.
“Our XXth Reunion is on May X - X, 20XX.”
Ensure the website is accessible: Can the text be read over the background color? Is the content organized on the page in a way that makes sense?
For example, reading smaller fonts or viewing too small pictures might be hard.
Suggested subpages:
Include a page for “About the Class Board” with headshots of board members and a fun fact about their time at Brown
In Memoriam, list deceased classmates (ask your class programs liaison)

Include a header with a class dues button, and Remember to pay this year’s class dues to help us fund our upcoming (or next) reunion.
