HIGHLIGHTS
In 8th grade at Brookside, students step confidently into leadership by setting long-term goals, leading real-world projects, and practicing all 7 Habits in meaningful ways. They tackle rigorous academic content—from modeling tectonic plate movement with graham crackers to debating civic issues like voting rights—and develop the skills to write compelling arguments, solve complex equations, and deliver polished multimedia presentations. Eighth grade is a transformative year that prepares students to lead with purpose in high school and beyond.
