At BSEA, we know that partnerships with parents and guardians are essential to the success of every child. We have an open door policy when it comes to visiting the school, and invite you to be part of your child's education. The BSEA Parent Teacher Association is active in holding events for our students and fundraising. If you'd like to volunteer or join the PTA, please contact them via email. If you'd like to volunteer to share your time or talent with the school, please contact our Guidance Counselors Ms. Solomon and Ms. Wilson.
If you would like to setup an appointment to visit the school, meet with teachers, our take a tour, please contact our Parent Coordinator, Mr. Yahya Seifullah at 718-240-3790.
BSEA utilizes the NYCSA Account to communicate with families. All families with a New York City School Account (NYCSA) will have access to receive:
Voice Messages: Receive voice messages with important updates and reminders!
Text Messages: Receive text messages with reminders for school wide events, workshops, PTA meetings, and more!
Emails: Receive school wide emails like our Family Updates, emails from teachers, progress reports, and more!
Teachers will be utilizing this account for family engagement this year. It is important that every family is registered with a NYCSA account. If you don't have an account, or need support, please contact our Parent Coordinator Mr. Seifullah or our Assistant Principal, Mr. Campbell.
The NYCSA account also gives you access to your student's program, attendance, and more.
We will be continuing our BSEA Family Update emails and are including additional resources to keep families in the loop with what is happening at BSEA.
We will be sharing additional resources that families can use to stay up to date with what students are learning each week.
We have expanded our virtual workshops to help families better understand their student's academic progress, how to support their children in the digital world, and more!
All students wear either black or khaki bottoms. Blue, black, or green bottoms are allowed on gym days.
