Parent Teacher Conferences are being held on Thursday, November 13, 2025. You can sign up to receive calls from your child's teachers during either of the two windows:
Afternoon Session: 12:50 pm - 2:50 pm
Evening Session: 4:30 pm - 7:00 pm
Students will be dismissed at 11:45 am. Please note that you will no longer be able to sign up for a session once conferences have started.

As per changes in State Law and the New York City Public Schools Regulations, personal internet-enabled electronic devices are not allowed to be accessed during school hours. BSEA will continue to use Yondr pouches. You can read more about our school's policy and procedures at the link below.
The Brienza after school program's application window is now open for Fall 2025. You can apply by clicking the DYCD link below and search for Brooklyn Science and Engineering Academy.
The High School Application Portal for Fall 2025 has not opened yet. However, you can get ready for the process this summer by taking the following steps:
Begin looking at high schools in the MySchools directory and begin thinking about what programs you may be interested in
Visit high schools you are interested in attending at one of their virtual or in person open houses.
Students who are interested in applying to a Specialized High School in the fall must take the SHSAT Assessment. Students should prepare for the assessment by reviewing this website and completing the practice assessments.
