I graduated from Connecticut College in 2001 with a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and Computer Science, and completed my Master's Degree in Secondary Education in May of 2020! This is my 3rd year teaching and my 3rd year as the 8th grade math teacher at BMS.

Some interesting tidbits about me:

• I have two kids, but no pets.

• I grew up in a small farming community in upstate New York. When I was a kid, I asked my parents for sheep and learned how to spin their wool!

• I love math, but I also studied robotics in college and built a robot named Anansi for my senior honors thesis.

• The best part of college was getting to spend a semester in Ireland my junior year.

I am so excited to get to spend a year exploring math with you!
