Emily Connally - Cherwell Collective/Climatarian Kitchen

Emily is passionate about reducing the carbon footprint of the community and helping people make informed choices about how to live more sustainable lifestyles. We distribute and repurpose waste of all sorts, and try to facilitate access to essential resources like food and clothing for all. We welcome everyone to join us in the fight against climate change and share their skills and knowledge in making the most of the resources available to help the wider community consume and waste less as we march toward a greener future together. As we say, come for the food, stay for the revolution!

Jess Kopp - Good Food Oxfordshire

I'm Jess from Good Food Oxfordshire. We work on various issues including food waste, and run an annual event called Oxfordshire's Pumpkin Festival to help raise awareness of food waste around Halloween. We also have a cooking toolkit to help people feel confident in cooking with whatever leftover veggies they have.

We are supporting the Love Student Leftovers competition as we want to encourage as many people as possible to reduce their food waste. We think this competition is a brilliant way for students to raise awareness of different ways to reduce waste, and also to encourage more people to get cooking!

Jo Milton - Replenish Oxfordshire

Jo loves encouraging people of all ages to cook and grow nutritious food, whilst wasting as little as possible. We run workshops teaching people new skills, like how to ferment vegetables and make their own compost at home.

The competition is a great way to reach younger people and use social media to share tips and recipes that help build habits for life.

Most food waste happens at home, so we really can make a difference.

Sandra Ruge - Waste2Taste, Food With a Conscience

Sandra is fiercely passionate about food and supporting vulnerable and disadvantaged members of the community.

Cooking with Food surplus brings her creativity, happiness and curiosity.

Spencer Lawes -  Oxford Food Hub

Spencer is passionate about anything to do with reducing food waste, and is delighted to support and be involved with a competition that champions the creative use of it.
