Global Goals Teach in 2023

In 2022 Brookes came 6th out of 134 institutions reaching 34% of our students.

134 Education institutions, 141,369 students and

772 educators

Let's beat that in 2023!

The 2023 Teach In ran from March 1st - March 31st 2023

The SDG Teach In is a campaign to put the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and therefore sustainability, at the heart of all stages of education, and across all disciplines.

This annual campaign calls upon educators to include the SDGS within their teaching, learning and assessment during the campaign and beyond.

2 steps to contribute:

1. Fill out an SOS UK pledge form here online

2. Add an outline to the Oxford Brookes Global Goals Padlet 2023 to inspire others

Remember  - to 'share' pledges and inspire/be inspired by others, you need to add a brief outline to the Brookes Padlet 2023

What do your modules, pedagogy or practice contribute to learning for a more just, equitable and sustainable future?

"Education for Sustainable Development is part of an educational change agenda allowing us to look critically at how the world is and to envision how it might be, supporting learners to create and pursue visions of a better world.  It outlines the role of Higher Education in supporting the knowledge, skills and competencies that students and staff develop to contribute to a more sustainable future".
