Law is all around us. It sticks to places and spaces. Because it is so pervasive, we often don’t notice it. Join Professor Peter Edge for a walking tour of Oxford, revealing the hidden criminal legal history of Oxford, and tying it into subjects you will be exploring in your programme. The tour begins at Headington Hill Hall, and ends in the Market Square in the middle of Oxford.
The walk is approximately 2.5 miles. There will be some kerbs and variation in ground level to navigate, including the walk down Headington Hill. Students will be asked to notify us of any accessibility requirements in the booking form and Student Ambassadors will be on hand to offer support to students who require it.
If you are interested in joining us, please complete this google form by 12 noon on Tuesday 17th September.

Once in town, students will be taken on a tour of some of the most famous historic sites of Oxford and asked to find and identify items of particular interest. The city centre of Oxford is predominantly flat, however some streets may be cobbled.
