Brookes Engage Scholarships will only be awarded to students who meet the eligibility criteria, have graduated from the Brookes Engage programme in the past year, and are applying or have applied to begin their degree in September 2026.
Applicants must firmly accept a place on either a full time undergraduate degree, a foundation degree or integrated foundation course at Oxford Brookes University or one of our partner colleges.
The following courses are excluded from the Sustained Access scholarship scheme:
Foundation Art & Design
International Foundation Diploma
The student must be applying to study for their first degree
The scholarship will be awarded at a rate of £1,000 in the first year of study only.
The student must be a Home fee paying student.
Scholarships will be terminated in cases when students are found to be in breach of the Student Conduct Regulations and have been subject to, and found guilty by, a disciplinary process which in the judgement of the University would warrant withdrawal of the Scholarship.
If the student withdraws from their course on a temporary or permanent basis, payment of the Scholarship will cease from the date the student leaves or is withdrawn from their Brookes course.
In circumstances when a student changes programme or mode of study to one which falls outside the eligibility criteria, the student will no longer be eligible for the Scholarship.
Students must be in attendance on their Brookes course on the instalment dates in order to receive any instalments due.
You have the right to appeal if you believe that you have been unfairly denied a scholarship to which you are entitled under our terms and conditions. Appeals should be made in writing to: brookesengage@brookes.ac.uk
