What is the conversation about?
Alcohol increases the risk of breast cancer. Even moderate alcohol consumption can increase the risk of breast cancer in women. Find out more here.
What have we done so far?
Researchers at Oxford Brookes University conducted a study about alcohol and the risk of breast cancer.
We asked: How can we raise awareness of the link between alcohol and breast cancer?
We also asked: How can we support women who are thinking about reducing their alcohol consumption?

What will happen next?
We will use our findings to make recommendations about how we can raise awareness about the link between alcohol and breast cancer. Read a short summary of the findings so far here. In the future we plan to develop a set of tools and strategies specifically for women who would like to reduce their alcohol consumption.
