Video walk-through for staff and students
Guidance is available to students via dedicated new partnership student web pages which go live mid-August time : www.brookes.ac.uk/study/courses/partner-colleges/new-students
Oxford Brookes Student ID Cards will be sent to each partner college in regular batches of students who have completed their enrolment.
A dedicated student support team has been appointed for this enrolment. For all online enrolment queries students must contact the Enrolment team at enrolment@brookes.ac.uk.
Please ensure that the 'new student welcome email' is sent to new students that have completed their online enrolment as this contains the 'New student digital guide', 'Brookes Services Guide' and the 'Welcome to Brookes' video. This email will have been shared with the HE Lead at your college/University Centre.
Enrolment opens: Students will be invited to enrol, on a rolling basis, from Wednesday, 3rd of September 2025
Enrolment deadline: Friday 17th October 2025
When students have an unconditional offer, Oxford Brookes University will send them two emails - one with their username (student number) and one with a link that students will need to create their password.
Students should check that the emails have not gone into their spam folder. These emails will start going out in batches from the end of August/beginning of September.
If the password is not set within 48 hours from receiving the email, the student will have to request a new password.
Once they receive both emails, students can start their online enrolment in the Student Information portal.
Information about online enrolment for new partnership students
Students need to enrol at the start of every academic year (either September or January entry point). The University should send a reminder to the student's Brookes email address. If they haven't received the reminder, students can still complete the online enrolment by logging into their Student Information.
Please note, students are advised to use a desktop computer and a Chrome browser (no mobile phones or Safari!).
Information about online enrolment for continuing students
Students haven't received the enrolment invite with password
Ask students to check their spam folder
Check that the student's personal email address is correct. If it's wrong, please email asap: partnershiprecords@brookes.ac.uk
Student needs to reset their password
Passwords can be reset at this link: https://iam.brookes.ac.uk/sfpr/ using the same personal email address the student has used to apply to study at Brookes.
If the password reset link doesn't work, students are advised to contact our IT Team either by phone (01865 483 311) or by submitting a ticket on our ServiceNow Portal: https://brookes.service-now.com/cms/sp-problem-logging-in.do
Can students complete the online enrolment using their mobile phone?
They can. However, if students use a phone and experience issues, they should ensure that they are running the latest version/software on the device and that it is in landscape mode. In general, we advise students that it's best to use a desktop computer and a Chrome browser.
Student's offer has been made unconditional firm today, can they enrol yet?
It takes a few days after a student has been confirmed as unconditional for us to create their records in all the University systems. Oxford Brookes University will send the students two emails. If the student still hasn't received their credentials after 5 days, and they do have an unconditional offer, then they should contact: partnershiprecords@brookes.ac.uk
Student is having issues with their new password
The second email students receive will contain a link which must be used to create their password. This link will only remain active for 48 hours. If students have any issues with their password, they should contact: partnershiprecords@brookes.ac.uk
Alternatively, passwords can be reset at this link: https://iam.brookes.ac.uk/sfpr/ using the same personal email address the student has used to apply to study at Brookes.
If the password reset link doesn't work, students are advised to contact our IT Team either by phone (01865 483 311) or by submitting a ticket on our ServiceNow Portal: https://brookes.service-now.com/cms/sp-problem-logging-in.do
Students can't find their qualifications in the drop-down list
We only record UK qualifications which students have achieved between the ages of 16-18 (Level 3) and so any other qualifications will not appear in the drop-down list.
Students need to untick the box for 'more qualifications' and then they will be able to proceed with their enrolment.
How does the student know if they are fully enrolled?
All ACP students will see a message in Student Information which confirms that 'Online enrolment is complete'. This means that they are fully enrolled.
Can a student change their profile photo?
Students should log into their Student Information:
Click on the grid icon in the top left corner of the screen;
Select Banner;
Select Student;
Select Update Personal Information.
Once the student has updated their photo, ask them to get in touch with us so we can request a new ID card.
How can a student change their address?

Student hasn't received their maintenance loan from the Student Loan Company
Has the student completed their online enrolment in full? Once a student enrols, Brookes SLC Team sends daily reports to the Student Loans Company who will release any maintenance payments directly to the students 3-5 working days after receiving confirmation from Brookes.
Student wants to defer
Students can defer up until the end of Week 4 without incurring in any fees.
If the student has enrolled with Brookes already > please submit a withdrawal SURF form, indicating as leaving reason 'deferral' and confirming the new entry point (Jan or Sep).
If the student has not enrolled with Brookes yet > submit deferral request depending on type of applicant:
Student thinks the tuition fee quoted on the financial enrolment page is incorrect
Students should check their account and make sure the course and mode of study they are registered on are correct. If any of this information is incorrect, please contact: partnershiprecords@brookes.ac.uk
If the course and mode of study information is correct but the fee is not correct, please contact the Student Finance Team (finance-fees@brookes.ac.uk).
Parents or family member are paying the student's tuition fees. Does the student need to enter their details in financial enrolment as a sponsor?
No. If a parent or a family member is paying, the student is still considered to be self financing.
Only organisations (such as employers, charities, embassies etc.) are classified as sponsors. We will send these sponsors an official invoice to pay the full fee.
When is the student's sponsor going to receive an invoice for their tuition fees?
We raise invoices to sponsors for tuition fees by November in Semester 1 and March if you are enrolling in Semester 2.
Can students pay their tuition fees in instalments?
Yes, they can pay in termly instalments.
