Homework

First, I'd like you to know that I am not one to give a lot of homework. I think it's important for students to have time with their families, and time to be kids. The homework I give is typically meant to be a quick practice of what we learned that day in class. If homework is taking a long time or becoming a nightly issue for your child, please contact me ASAP so we can address it together as a team!

1. Assignments are due the next day unless otherwise noted (ex: a long term project).

2. HW must be turned in on time and fully completed, with work shown if necessary.

3. Students who are absent will receive an extension based on the length of the absence.

4. Each missed HW assignment results in 1 point on your calendar. Please see the Zero Points page for more information on this. Large assignments, such as projects, may also be subject to a loss of points on the overall grade.

5. If you cannot complete an assignment due to an emergency situation, please have the parent/guardian send in a signed note or email me.
