The Product Placement for the Film and TV Series will be strategic, and the Marketing Team will operate accordingly.
Stage 1:
In Pre-production collateral for The Galactican will be created to make a marketing package so that respective Marketing Directors can easily assess the quality and commerciality of the entire franchise (We will only use products that will weave easily into the production design of the show).
Therefore, we will only approach leading high-profile International Brands with a vested interest in the foreseeable future, i.e. Apple. This company spends hundreds of millions of dollars a year on media exposure on various platforms, although every single dollar must be accounted for.
Stage 2:
Once in agreement, we approach their design division and invite them to create Props that are still only at a prototype stage for Apple and then invite them to further develop their ideas at either their cost or provide a budget for our Props Team to work with.
The Producers will then approve the designs, in conjunction with the Creative Team on the Film & TV Series, and then negotiate a fee, or use of the product.
This can be in the form of technology or even a joint venture on a specific marketing strategy which would involve their product and The Galactican.
Stage 3:
Once The Galactican is complete, our Marketing Team and Senior Management from Apple will be invited to attend various VIP Screenings.
Once the Series is available to various International Territories, the Sales Team will approach Apple again to invite them to Advertise during the initial run of The Galactican.
The Management at Apple will already be fully aware of The Galactican, therefore the prospect of agreeing on a deal may prove highly likely.
Other leading Brands that may be considered include: Google, Virgin, Microsoft, General Motors, Ford, Toyota, Virgin Atlantic, Rolex, Tesla, Space X, Coke, Pepsi, NASA, Nike, Reebok, Adidas, Shell, even Netflix, and the list goes on and on.
The various products certainly won’t be obvious glaring advertisements for the respective Brand, but rather subtly embroidered into the tapestry of the high production values of this futuristic show.
