Franklin Middle School uses Canvas as our LMS.

Homepage includes links to the Class expectations, the current module, class and school resources, CARES, and the bell schedule.

Most of our work will be on paper but will still be listed on the Classwork Page

The classwork page is always at the top of each weekly module.

Any homework assignments will also be listed there in red.

Summative assignments like tests are marked with a 📌 and posted at the beginning of the week so students know what to expect in the coming week. Tests and homework are also listed on the homework board that students are supposed to copy every day at the beginning of class.

The current module is always at the top of the Modules page. The green checkmarks mean the student turned it in which lets the next thing open. Each assignment also tells what needs to be done like "submit," "view," "mark as done." The red dashes mean it's missing.

Assignments are only "locked" if I'm absent so it will open at the beginning of the class period.

If you get an error message that something is locked, it means you didn't complete a previous assignment. Canvas will tell you what assignment needs to be turned in - go to that assignment to finish it and view/submit/mark as done (however it is marked - all of the information is there!).
