Parents meeting will be Monday, March 16th at 6:00 PM in the Truman cafeteria. Please enter through the front doors.
Here you can find all the info and paperwork you need to participate in cross country and/or track & field at Harry S Truman High School!
You can check what paperwork you have submitted at the following link (updated regularly):
FamilyID Registration:
The first step is getting registered on FamilyID, which is the system that the school district uses to track athletes and their paperwork. You can find that here:
Physical:
You need a physical to compete in school sports. The school offers on-site physicals before each sports season for 10 dollars cash. If you miss that date, you can get one from your doctor or a walk-in clinic, and have them fill out the following form:
Impact Test and Canvas Course/Google Form:
You need to complete the imPACT concussion baseline test and the Google Form within the Truman Athletics canvas course. Instructions for both Truman and Tech school students can be found here. Make sure to follow the correct instructions for your school!
Team Expectations Contract:
Every athlete is expected to have a copy of the contract, signed by the athlete and a parent/guardian on file. It lays out all expectations athletes are to follow. You can see Coach P for a copy or get one at the following link:
Uniform:
Athletes are to purchase a uniform. The cost is $60 dollars. Uniform sets include a top, a bottom, and a pair of long tights.
If cost will create an issue, please reach out to a member of the coaching staff privately and we will figure something out. We do not want cost to be a barrier for participation.
TeamReach:
We have a group message which we use to share up to date, quick, and sometimes time-sensitive information. This can be about meets, practice times, etc. Make sure to get on there so you don't miss anything!
