When you have completed the required number of hours for an activity to count, then all you need to do is make sure there is an Assessor's Report from your assessor on the eDofE system. There are two ways to do this detailed below.
When all assessor reports are added and approved by BCCS, the award will then be verified by DofE. Bronze certficiates will be given out in an assembly at school. Students who complete the Gold award are invivetd to a presentation, usually at St James' Palace, but occassionaly in the gardens at Buckingham Palace!
Make sure the start date and end date are at least the requirement months apart. It cannot be approved otherwise.

There are cards inside the welcome pack that can be filled in by the assessor. Make sure the start and end date are sufficiently far enough apart, and that the assessor completes the whole card.
When done YOU need to upload a photo of it via your eDofE App

Ask your assessor to complete the report at www.eDofE.org/assessor
You will need your DofE ID number to add to this online form. Once done it comes to your DofE Manager to approve and add to your account
DO NOT add something to your eDofE account yourself, or ask your assessor to do so.
