Choose Ohio First Summer Math Bridge Program
The COFSP Summer Math Bridge is a free 4-week on-campus program intended to support and enhance the math skills of high school students who are interested in pursuing a STEM major in college. Particularly, the program addresses the gap in knowledge that often occurs between Algebra II and Pre-Calculus/Calculus. Eligible participants must be currently enrolled in (or have already completed) algebra II and must have a minimum 2.5 GPA. Eligible students who participate in the summer bridge program receive priority consideration for a COF scholarship if they attend YSU and pursue a COF eligible major.
Open to incoming freshmen through graduating seniors (up to 19 years of age), Camp Canopy is the summer activity all of your friends will be talking about. A weeklong (Sunday-Friday) camp the second week of June held at Ohio FFA Camp Muskingum in Carrollton, it’s the perfect mix of forestry, wildlife and adventure.
Are you a young leader with big ideas? At the Ohio Business Week camp, you’ll
join other high school students from across the state to learn how to take a
business from concept to reality through interactive hands-on learning, and
team-building activities.
The University of Findlay's annual Pharmacy Summer Camp is a four-day camp where incoming high school juniors and seniors meet current pharmacy students, pharmacy professors, and pharmacists in the field to get a first-hand experience of what it takes to become a successful pharmacist.
Findlay’s College of Pharmacy invites high students of all ages to be our guests during our free V.I.P.2 day of learning and exploring. Students will get an overview of pharmacy practice as they spend time in the lab compounding chemicals, learning about physical assessment and filling prescriptions under the supervision of our College of Pharmacy faculty and teaching assistants. Students will get an overview of the profession of pharmacy and Findlay’s pharmacy program, and will come home with souvenirs from their experience!
