At the moment, BR Robotics has five engineers, with Logan Miels as the chief engineer.
The engineers' main goal is to create designs and construct them. They are responsible for building the marketing booth and robotics field components, as well as robots, drones, and much more throught the year.
The engineers use all sorts of power tools in the build room in the CTE building, including table saws, drills, sanders, and more. Every robotics club member MUST take and pass a safety test before being able to enter the build room!
For every proposed design, the engineers create a "risk chart" to balance out the pros and cons of each feature, as well as the problems they may run into. If you're interested in becoming an engineer, email Mrs. Knabe at christine.knabe@brisd.net.
