As you access your Toddle Portal through Clever, you’ll use core features such as family messaging, announcements, attendance, assessments, and report cards-all of which are explored further below.
Check announcements and family messages daily. Use the announcements feature for your weekly parent newsletter and Toddle messaging to communicate with students and families.

The Toddle calendar is your go-to place for all school events, meetings, and holidays. This is where you'll find information about schoolwide happenings. To view your classroom-specific due dates, toggle on the 'Assignments Tags' option on the left hand side on.
Task: Review the Toddle Calendar and find when the next All-Hands PD occurs.
Attendance is taken daily at the start of class through the Toddle Portal. All students should be synced automatically to your roster. Review the attendance policy here.
You can mark all students present at once or mark attendance individually with the following options: Present, Absent, Arrived Late, Left Early, Excused (acceptable absence), Disengaged (present but not participating at all), or Not on Camera. If you select any option other than Present or Absent, include a brief note (e.g. AL with a note stating the student arrived at 10:20).
Onboarding Task: Click on attendance in your Training class and hover over the attendance options. Also, click on the Training Student and look at the tabs of the student profile. Add a teacher's note in the student profile.
