Class overview
Our class meets live on Zoom every Monday - Friday. We have daily instruction in Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies, with time built in for classroom games, guided practice, and project-based learning. Parents are always welcome to be present for lessons and to help me adjust student learning plans as needed.
BA History -- University of Oregon (1998)
MA History -- Minnesota State University (2002)
Master of Teacher Education -- Eastern Oregon Univ (2003)
Master of Science-- K-12 Special Education (2018)
BS -- Computer Science (almost done!) 2023 anticipated
About Mrs. C
I'm a state-certified K-6 Elementary Teacher with nine years of classroom teaching experience. I'm also state certified in K-12 Special Education and Social Studies. I live near Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming, so I'm in the Mountain Time Zone.
My husband and I have two teenage boys who love to ski, play Minecraft, and program in Python. When I am not teaching, I am training for trail runs and open-water swimming. I also enjoy computer programming, math, the history of ancient Scotland, genealogy, and reading Jane Austen and Charlotte Bronte novels.
I love winter running! In this picture, I am pulling my sled during the 150K arctic winter race in Rovaniemi, Finland.
