Grading Policy

📚 Assignment Deadlines:
All assignments must be turned in by the assigned due date to receive full credit.

• Assignments submitted up to 5 days late will receive a maximum of 80%.

• Assignments submitted more than 5 days late will receive a maximum of 50%.
  
  

✏️ Absences:
If your child has an excused absence, they will be given an appropriate extension to complete missed assignments.
If the absence is unexcused, the original due date will still apply.

🔁 Retake Policy:
Students may request to reattempt one summative assessment per grading period.
To be eligible:

• The student must send a written request via email.

• The student must complete any additional work or review materials assigned by the content area teacher.  

• All reattempts must be completed by the scheduled due date provided.
