Students are assessed on an ongoing basis through all assignments and activities, including, hands-on work, group collaboration, personalized tasks, written assignments, traditional tests, presentations, projects, ongoing observations, and one-on-one interactions. Our process is based on formative assessments and regular feedback that move students forward and cultivate growth over time. one-on-one conversations, observations, and every activity is an opportunity for students to demonstrate their mastery of the learning outcomes of the course, as well as other related skills and proficiency. A summative assessment is reported formally on progress reports that are regularly distributed throughout the year. The grade is determined using the quantitative and qualitative data gathered during the assessment process.
