Language - Don't we all love the nitty gritty of the English Language? ;) Students will be learning grammar, composition, vocabulary, latin, and greek. Working together they will uncover the mysteries of this mosaic language. 

Reading - The class will dive deep into great literature. We are using Fishtank Learning's ELA curriculum. Together we will explore, analyze, and discuss different fiction and non-fiction stories. Books and passages will be tied to all core subjects because we know nothing is learned on an island. 

Math - Students will be learning how to work a math problem as efficiently as possible. They will learn how to analyze and use the building blocks of math to solve complex problems. 

Students will have a whole group math lesson with a Math Specialist Monday - Thursday. They will also have a small group lesson taught by their homeroom teacher Monday - Thursday. 

*Whole group lessons are taught in "homeroom" sized classes and not the entire 6th grade.
