Weekly Wellness Sessions
Weekly Wellness is a dedicated space for Black and African women to come together, connect, and recharge. Each 45–50 minute session, led by an experienced facilitator, offers a supportive environment to explore topics such as family and parental stress, navigating unique challenges faced by Black women, and developing healthy strategies for managing everyday pressures. Whether in person or virtual, these sessions blend open discussion with practical tools for self-care, fostering both personal well-being and a sense of community.

1-1 Meetings provide group members with personalized time to focus on their individual well-being. In these regular sessions, members meet privately with the facilitator or a peer support specialist to discuss their health goals, reflect on steps they’ve taken to reduce stress, and identify the biggest sources of pressure in their lives. These conversations also explore alternative self-care strategies, ways to prioritize personal time, and practical approaches to maintaining balance. By tracking progress over time, the facilitator ensures that each member receives tailored guidance, encouragement, and accountability to support their unique wellness journey.
We host regular group events designed to foster connection, joy, and overall community wellness. These gatherings create a welcoming space for clients to relax, bond, and take part in uplifting activities without worrying about cost. From rejuvenating spa days to fun shopping trips and peaceful park outings, each event is thoughtfully planned to encourage social engagement, reduce isolation, and support mental and emotional health. All events are entirely free for our registered clients, ensuring that everyone can participate and benefit from shared experiences that promote a stronger, healthier community.
