1981 (7-5-4)
In Brick Memorial’s inaugural season Hank Handchen was named Head Coach & the Mustangs won the program's first win on April 6. They made it to the quarter-finals of the Ocean County Tournament.
1982 (10-7-2)
In just their second year the Stangs reached “double digit wins” before losing in the second round of the Ocean County Tournament.
1983 (13-5)
The ‘Stangs continued to improve and for the first time made it all the way to the Ocean County Tournament semifinals.
1984 (7-6-2 )
For the second consecutive year the Mustangs made it to the Ocean County Tournament semifinals. They won two first round games as a six seed.
1985 (9-7)
The Mustangs finished out the season by winning 6 of 8 games after a rough start. The highlight being an upset of #2 seed Manalapan in the first ever Shore Conference Tournament.
1986 (8-6-1)
The Mustangs qualified for the Shore Conference Tournament before bowing out to Wall HS in a first round game.
1987 (10-7)
Brick Memorial got back to double digit wins for the first time in four years .
1988 (9-8)
The Mustangs beat a quality Howell team to get above .500 for the eighth consecutive season of their existence.
1989 (7-8)
Brick Memorial barely suffered its first losing season since the program began in 1981.
1990 (6-7-1)
The young Mustangs suffered through a rough regular season. It was the first time the Mustangs had back to back losing seasons.
1991 (12-4-3)
Brick Memorial came storming back to win the school’s first championship in Coach Handchen’s last season. The ‘A’-South Champs started the season 5-0-2 and made it to the Shore Conference semifinals.
1992 (17-3)
New Head Coach Tom Reilly led the most talented team to date to an ‘A’-South Championship & the Shore Conference Tournament Finals. Up to this point it was the most wins in a season.
1993 (11-3-3)
Brick Memorial showed it is a top program in the Shore Conference with a strong season after graduating many talented players. The Mustangs made it to the SCT quarter-finals.
1994 (13-3-3)
The Mustangs continued their streak of quality seasons in the 90s. In Coach Reilly’s last season they made it to the Shore Conference Tournament semifinals.
1995 (17-1-3)
First year Head Coach Billy Caruso led the Mustangs to their first Shore Conference Tournament title and a #17 ranking in the USA. For the 1st time they finished as the Shore’s #1 ranked team as they competed in Class ‘B’ South.
1996 (10-7-1) spring
After a shaky start the ‘Stangs finished the season strong and made it all the way to the Shore Conference Tournament semifinals. This is the last season girls’ soccer was played in the spring.
1996 (15-6) fall
Brick Memorial played for the first time in NJSIAA State Tournament and makes it to the sectional semifinals. They also finished 2nd in ‘A’-South for a big bounce back year.
1997 (15-4-3)
The Mustangs won their first ‘B’-South Championship and played in the Shore Conference Championship game. They play in the state section semifinals for the 2nd year in a row.
1998 (16-6)
The girls won the second most wins in program history up to this point. They end up ranked #2 in Ocean County and played in the state sectional semifinals.
1999 (24-1)
Brick Memorial won their first State championship & set a Mustang record for victories that still stands today! They also won ‘B’-South and South Jersey Group IV. The only loss came in the SCT Finals. The ended ranked #2 in NJ & #10 in the USA.
2000 (15-3-4)
The Mustangs moved back to ‘A’-South and won another Championship. They played in the South Jersey Sectional Championship IV game where they lost in penalty kicks.
2001 (17-4)
The ‘Stangs won back to back ‘A’-South & South Jersey Group IV Championships. They lost in the State Semifinals to a young Heather O’Reilly before she went onto USA National Team fame.
2002 (18-4-1)
The Mustang won their 2nd State Championship and repeated as South Jersey Group IV Champs. Along the way they also won ‘A’-South. The senior class won “book-end” State Championships as both freshmen and seniors.
2003 (16-6-1)
Brick Memorial won “back to back” State Championships. They also won Central Jersey Group IV. As the #9 seed they played all their State Tournament games on the road.
2004 (19-2-1)
The Mustangs become the first team to 3-peat a group IV State Championship. They also won ‘A’-South and Central Jersey Group IV. The senior class leaves with 3 rings!
2005 (19-1)
Brick Memorial wins 19 straight, an ‘A’-South and Shore Conference Tournament Championships. However they failed to win a 4th straight State Championship. Before that loss they were ranked #1 in NJ & the USA.
2006 (13-8)
The ‘Stangs stumbled during a tough regular season but went on the road to beat two higher seeds in the State Tournament. They made it to the semi-finals, before losing to the #1 team in New Jersey.
2007 (18-4)
The Mustangs won an ‘A’-South Championship and made it to the Shore Conference Tournament Championship game. They played in the state sectional semifinals for the 12th straight year.
2008 (15-4-2)
Memorial won both ‘A’-South and Central Jersey Group IV. They played in their 13th straight sectional semifinal match. ‘Stangs lost in an epic state semifinal game to Lenape who would go on to break the Mustangs consecutive Group IV State Championships record.
2009 (11-8-1)
After a rough start the Mustang picked up steam as the regular season ended. They battle back for the program's 20th consecutive double digit winning season.
2010 (10-7-2)
Brick Memorial made it to the Shore Conference Tournament quarter-finals before bowing out to the #1 seed in the state tournament. They continue the double digit season win streak.
2011 (5-11-2)
The young Mustang suffered their first losing season in over twenty years. They finished in the ‘A’-South cellar for the first time.
2012 (13-5-2)
The ‘Stangs had a nice “bounce back” season. The season started at 10-1 before the “injury bug” bites. After a two week delay from Superstorm Sandy they played in the sectional quarter-finals.
2013 (10-10)
Brick Memorial held on to achieve a winning season. They lost in the Shore Conference and State Tournaments to two of the state's best teams.
2014 (15-7-2)
Brick Memorial played in both the Shore Conference and Central Jersey Group IV semifinals. After an early rough patch they finished the season 14-3-1.
2015 (10-7-3)
The Mustangs completed another winning season. They finished in 5th place in ‘A’-South. They won an opening game in the Shore Conference Tournament but failed to win a state tournament game.
2016 (8-12–1)
The Stangs finished a disappointing season for a talented team. They failed to qualify for the Shore Conference Tournament and lost in the first round of states.
2017 (7-11-2)
For the second time in program history the Mustangs had back to back losing seasons. They finish one game out of the cellar in ‘A’-South and fail to make the Shore Conference Tournament.
2018 (9-8-1)
The Mustangs eked out a winning season. They tied a quality Wall HS team in the opening round of the Shore Conference Tournament but failed to advance on penalty kicks.
2019 (2-11-2)
The Mustang hit rock bottom with their worst record ever. They finished in last place and are a bottom 3 team in the Shore Conference. They failed to make the states for the first time.
2020 (5-9-2)
The ‘Stangs were improved but struggled in a very good ‘A’-South division. In a shortened scheduled “Covid” season they won a game in their “tournament pod.”
2021 (15-4-1)
Brick Memorial bounced back big. They finished as runner-up in ‘A’-South and advanced to the SCT quarter-finals. They played their first home games in the states since 2014. They made it to the semifinals where they out shot their opponents 20-3 but failed to advance on penalty kicks.
2022 (11-4-2)
The Mustangs returned to chamipnship form. They shared a piece of the 'A'-South title and played in the Central Jersey Group III Chamiponship game. In the finals they battled back twice from being down by a gaol. The last one with under five minutes left. They finally fell in the second OT with 2 minutes left in an epic Championship game. One of the largest crowds Brick Memorial has ever seen as they packed the Middletwon South bleachers!
2023 (15-5-1)
In the quater-finals of Central Jersey Group III Memorialy beats Hopewell Valley who eliminated them on PKs in 2021. Then on the final stop of the "Revenge Tour" the Stangs go back to Middletown South for a rematch of the 2022 Championship Game. This time Brick Memorial totally reverses the script by scoring in the second OT with 8 minutes left. The huge Mustang crowd storms the field to celebrate with the girls. The 'Stangs are Sectional Champions for the first time since 2008!
2024 (10-8-1)
The Stangs over come injuries and a rough start. After begining the season 2-5-1, the girls go 8-3 to end the season. The lose another double OT game to Middletown South in the SCT before earning a bye in the first round of the States. The Mustangs are playing well and looking towards a third straight year in the CJ Gr. III Championship game. After our fourth straight trip to the semi finals the season ends for our girls. While out-playing and out-shooting Jackson Memorial the girls fail to advance in a penalty shoot-out.
2025 (6-12)
The Mustangs must overcome season ending injuries to four of their best players. A monumental struggle for any team. After struggling early in a loaded Class 'A'-South the Mustnags end their season on a 4-2 run. Winning a game on the road in the State Tournament and advancing to the Quarter Finals for the sixth straight year.
