We were divided into 2 groups to alternate between hiking and kayaking. We had a lot of fun despite we were very sleepy on those days.

The Lottery

We reenacted the scene from Shirley Jackson's "The Lottery" that we read in Reading Class. Every family had to come up with their backstories followed by the actual lottery. Sadly, Papae won the lottery and got destroyed by water balloons (At least they are not stones).

The morning parade took almost 2 hours to finished, we got to see all sort of people doing the parade. On the afternoon, we were planning our first Thai cultural show at Sugar Hill!

In the evening, some of us got the see the Cate Band Concert. At night, we all waited at the balcony of Rogers to watch the fireworks.
Slow Waltz

P'James gave us a lesson on how to do slow waltz. Everyone had a great time learning with P'James (including Chris who took a ton of picture of us and giggled all the time).
Lawn Games

On Friday, Julia and Jaxson introduced us a lot of lawn games, we took turn playing each one a nd all of them are really fun!

Movie (Hidden Figures)+ Karaoke Night
July 5, 2024
After dance class and lawn games, we had a mandatory Friday Movie Night as usual. We were alll very tired but what kept us going is the karaoke session. It was hilarious, especially when P' I-Pon and P'Due sing a song together.
