Afternoons: Mostly outdoors.

All campers participate in morning classes (3) and afternoon stations (all).

Please note: We do not offer a half-day option.

Mornings at Camp

*Campers will rotate through three different classes each morning. Each Class will have an Instructor and a TA.

*Morning classes are mostly indoors in a classroom setting and may go outside for some activities.

Afternoons at Camp

Monday - Thursday

12:00 pm - 3:00 pm

*Campers will be divided into small groups according to age/grade. Groups rotate to different Stations with a Group Leader and TA. Each Station will have a Station Leader and TA.

*Each group will eat lunch together and get in the creek every day!  Two groups come together at Game Station for added fun and social time.

*There will be a STEM challenge with another group at the end of the week!

*Afternoon stations are outdoors, rain-or-shine; we will move inside for thunderstorms.  (The Camp Director made special "Thunder Boxes" for each group to use in case of bad weather... campers won't be disappointed to hear thunder, that's for sure!)

Groups will visit ALL stations

throughout the week

Games:  Traditional, new and creative field games and activities!  We'll play Muggle Quidditch*, giant yard games, relay races, hoop games, and more! If you get tired of playing field games, stretch and relax under the tent or work on your artistic skills at the "Sidewalk Chalk Station"! Whatever you do, you will have fun with your camp friends!

*Quidditch- Learn about the different positions: Chaser, Seeker, Beater, and Keeper; and the many different balls used: Quaffle, Bludgers, and the Golden Snitch!

*We will have a Camp Olympics on the last day!

T-Shirts: Create a camp T-shirt that you can wear proudly on the last day of camp, and all year long. You even get to pick the color of your shirt! Get a different color every year!

Life in a Stream: Use stream viewers to see what lies beneath the ripples and a variety of nets to see what lives in this aquatic ecosystem. Learn about some amazing macroinvertebrates and how to determine water quality by looking at biotic (living) characteristics of the creek.

Stream Science: Measure the velocity of the water, check the pH, learn about all the abiotic (non-living) characteristics of the creek at this station! 

Camp Regatta: Build a tiny boat and race it down King's Creek with your friends! 

StreamPlay: Play in the cold clear water of King's Creek!
