7th and 8th Grade
This is a semester class. This class is paired with Ag Exploration.
Our STEAMology elective offers students the space and tools to integrate the nature of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics to discover solutions to real world problems. Using a makerspace setting students will be challenged each six weeks to focus on a problem that can be solved by a different career field in STEAM. Through these challenges students will become creative and innovative problem solvers, researchers, engineers and designers. They will also use the skills of collaboration, communication and critical thinking to explore the careers and solutions of the 21st Century. There’s a world of possibilities in STEAMology!
