Kitsap County Sheriff Benevolent Foundation Scholarship

• Status: Open - Deadline is Tuesday, March 31 at 4 PM

• Amount: 3 Awards at $2,500 each

• For Kitsap County seniors that best demonstrate the values of "esprit de corps", dedication, and a commitment to improving public safety. 

Changing the Way America Thinks About Race Scholarship

• Status: Open - Deadline is April 2026

• Amount: 2 Awards at $5,000 each

Katie Proteau Educational Scholarship

• Status: Open - Deadline is Wednesday, April 1, 2026

League of Women Voters of Kitsap Scholarship

• Status: Open - Deadline is Friday, April 3, 2026

• Amount: 1 Award at $2,000 & 2 Awards at $750 each

Kitsap Audubon Society Scholarships

• Status: Open - Deadline is Friday, April 3, 2026

• Amount: $1,000

• For Kitsap County students planning to study environmental science or a related field. 

BHS Common Scholarship Application

• Status: Open - Deadline is Wednesday, April 15, 2026

• Amount: Varies 

• Application can be found in the OC Group, Running Start, and 4 Year College Prep Google Classrooms 

• One application lets BHS students apply for the following scholarships: Bremerton Central Lions Foundation Scholarship, BEA Scholarship, Bremerton Kiwanis Scholarship, Bremerton Rotary Scholarship, Bremerton Schools & Alumni Foundation Scholarship, ChangeUP Foundation Scholarship, and the Groth Memorial Scholarship.

Olympic College Foundation Scholarships 

• Status: Open - Deadline is Tuesday, April 21, 2026

• Amount: Varies

• Apply online HERE 

• For students planning to attend Olympic College next year. Only one application needed for the OC Promise scholarship and others. 

BPEA Scholarship

• Status: Open - Deadline is Friday, April 24

• Amount: Two awards at $1,000 each

• Application can be found HERE 

• For students that are dependents of members of the BPEA Union, which includes BSD clerical staff, nurses, and paraeducators.  

Bremerton Valley of the Scottish Rite Scholarship

• Status: Open - Deadline is Thursday, April 30

• Amount: Varies

• Application can be found HERE 

• For Bremerton High School students with a minimum GPA of at least 3.2

Mayor's Youth Leadership Award

• Status: Closed

• Amount: $500

• Application can be found online

• For students that have been or are currently involved with a city government, community, and/or school leadership activity.

Washington State Fair Blue Ribbon Scholarship Program 

• Status: Closed

• Amount: Varies

• Apply online HERE 

• Only one application needed for multiple scholarships. For more information on individual scholarships, visit the Washington State Fair Foundation.

Washington State Opportunity Scholarship

• Status: Closed

• Amount: Totals up to $22,500 

• Application can be found HERE 

• For students planning to study a STEM field at a Washington State college or university with a minimum GPA of 2.75.
