This can be written at the beginning of every week, every day, or as needed throughout the day just as long as the expectation for the day/week is clear and something you can stick to! You can get creative and use pictures or just simply list out what the day will entail. Tip: make sure that any activities that are less preferred and more difficult for your child are scheduled BEFORE preferred activities.
If your child needs an additional incentive, let them choose what they want to earn. Allow them to earn it by completing items on their schedule and/or for following house rules. This should be individualized in order to reinforce appropriate behavior and/or completing tasks that are typically difficult for your child. An incentive can be something you would do anyway and does not need to be something that is at an additional cost to you. Some ideas: later bedtime, extra screen time, special dessert, game/movie of their choice, etc.
Examples of incentive programs can be viewed here.
