Special notice to students
Texas voters are registered on a county-by-county basis. If you would like to vote the full ballot in Brazos Counthy—President, US representative, state representative, city council, county commissioner, propositions—you must be registered to vote in Brazos County by the October 7 deadline. If you are registered to vote in a county other than Brazos, you must either return to that county to vote, or you will vote a limited ballot that allows you to vote only for national and statewide candidates only. Note that a limited ballot can be voted only during early voting.

Verify that you are registered to vote
If you are unsure if you are registered to vote, verify your voter registration.
Last day to register to vote in the November 2024 election is October 7, 2024.
VUID (voter unique identifier) is listed on your voter registration card.
Note that Texas does not have online voter registration.
Print and mail
Complete and mail a registration form.
Print at home
Print then complete the SOS online voter registration application with the required information. Sign the form. Mail the form or deliver the form to Brazos County Elections Administration. 300 E. William J. Bryan Blvd., Bryan 77803.
Request an application from the Secretary of State
Request a printed application to be mailed to your home by the Office of the Texas Secretary of State. Complete the application, then mail to Your application must reach Elections Administration by the close of business October 7, 2024.

Complete the voter registration process. In the lobby, for self-service, you may complete a postcard registration; otherwise, the Elections Administration staff will assist you .

Register to vote when renewing your driver license
If you’re not already registered to vote but have an existing Texas driver license or state identification card, you can register to vote online when renewing, replacing or changing your contact information for either of these cards through the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS).
Follow the steps on the DPS web portal to update your driver license information, and you will be given the option to register to vote when renewing or updating your information.
Update if you have moved or changed your name.
If you have moved or changed your name since you last registered to vote, you can now update your voter registration record online at Texas.gov.
If your voter registration record is on suspense, it means your county of registration has received information that you no longer live at the address on your current voter registration record. You can use the link above to update your address or information on your voter registration record.
A deputy voter registrar can also change your address with a simple form.
You can also change your address by completeing a form at the Brazs County Elections Administration office, 300 E. William J. Bryan Blvd., Bryan.
