Meet the Teacher

Hello!

My name is Leasa Wagner! I am married to my wonderful husband, Tommy, and I have a beautiful 7 year old daughter, Kambria! We have a sweet dog named Kota, a old grouchy kitty named Gizmo, and a young rambunctious kitty name Chewy! I grew up in Florida and my husband is from West Virginia. I have been in Georgia for quite sometime and attended college at Thomas University and Valdosta State University. I have been teaching for 16 years and have worked at Brantley County High School for 14 of those years. I am excited to meet all of you and hope my class becomes one of your favorites during your time here at Brantley County High School!

I am looking forward to a wonderful school year and we are excited to get to know your student. I feel that history is the foundation of which to shape and mold future generations. My hope is for this class to be exciting, interesting, and full of knowledge that your student will carry with them throughout life. We strive to maintain a structured environment in our classroom with day-to-day routines, but also know that every student is unique as are their educational needs.
