Mini seminars are small, focused events designed to help parents connect directly with important community agencies that support students during transitions (e.g., to adulthood or post-school services). Each seminar includes no more than three agencies at a time, allowing for a more personal and less overwhelming experience than large transition fairs.
At these sessions, parents can:
Meet with agency representatives one-on-one
Ask questions and receive personalized explanations
Complete applications or get help starting the process
These seminars are designed for families who prefer a quieter, more focused environment to learn about available resources and take meaningful steps toward their child’s future. They are held in the evenings, and dinner is provided.
