Past Projects

We are open to all project ideas. The following are some examples that we are working on:

Project 1: Creating educational material for Brandeis community regarding Arduinos for research

In this unique collaboration between the Robotics Club and research, we are dedicated to empower the Brandeis community with robotics to enhance research. We realize the benefits of using Arduinos in labs and desire to share this with the community. We offer Arduino workshops to interested members:

  • Class 1: Thinking in Systems and Programs

  • Class 2: Computer Programming

  • Class 3: Introduction to Electronics

  • Class 4: Arduino Components

  • Class 5: Sensor Actuator Project

Project 2: Research program at Waltham High School

Dr. Vivek is heavily involved in research outreach, co-teaching a course regarding using Arduinos for research at Waltham High School. We are devoted to creating partnerships with high school students as equal collaborators in this group. A rough draft overview is here.

If you are interested in novel outreach, feel free to contact him via our Contact Us page.

Project 3: Human augmentation

Our collaborative provides a creative space for exploratory multidisciplinary research idea generation. We have been exploring various novel ideas and conduct our own research projects from these ideas. These include enhancing postural stability using a variety of sensors and optic substitution, which directly line up with Vivek’s research in the Graybiel Lab.
