Personal Interests: I make large abstract paintings in most of my spare time. I also enjoy trekking around new places, visiting museums (of all sorts), and shopping for exotic food/spices.

If I weren’t a scientist I’d be… an artist

Research Interests: I am interested in the molecular mechanisms that underlie learning and memory. I have been using conditioned taste aversion to test whether the activity regulated gene Rem2 is involved in CTA and extinction learning.
