(1) Synthetic microbial ecosystems for antimicrobial discovery, modeling the microbiome, and therapeutic microbes.
(2) Novel biological assays employing quantum magnetic sensing technologies, including magnetofluorescent proteins and diamond nitrogen vacancy centers.
(3) Accessible and high sensitivity diagnostic technologies suitable for point-of-care settings.
