At Oak Grove, we proudly support the Accelerated reading program as a way of getting our students to read daily. We recommend that each child completes 20 minutes of reading time, at home, per day. 

Accelerated reading points are based on Grade and students are rewarded every 9 weeks if they reach their goals. These goals are as follows:

5th Grade: 45 Points

4th Grade: 40 Points

3rd Grade: 30 Points

2nd Grade: 20 Points

1st Grade: 10 Points

Kindergarten: 5 Points
