ABOUT THE BPA PROGRAM

Public Administration is a degree program that prepares people for careers in public administration and governance for the public interest. It is also a formation course for students who want to devote their life to public service in government and civil society.

BPA prepares its graduates for technical and administrative positions in government, including foreign service and civil society. It is a good preparation for those interested in taking up law. Graduates can look forward to executive and policy-making positions in government, both elective and appointive, as well as executive and policy-making positions in civil society organizations.

A group of BPA students, namely Angela Joy S. Bondoc, Erika T. Dela Cruz, Risha Mae C. Padua, Jessica Mae N. Pangan, Joana Rose P. Pariño, and Allyza Mae C. Sabio, handed a copy of their thesis entitled "𝗘𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼-𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟮𝟬𝟭𝟱-𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟬" to Governor Joet Garcia accompanied by Congressman Jett Nisay from Pusong Pinoy Partylist.

Along with the thesis, they shared the findings and recommendations of their study. This allowed the officials to gain insights into the impact of the TFG campaign on tobacco usage rates and public awareness in the selected barangays. Their efforts aimed to contribute valuable information to support and enhance the campaign's effectiveness in creating a smoke-free environment and healthier community.

This event was witnessed by Mr. Oliver Enriquez ( TFG Coordinator) BPA Faculty, Dr. Ronald Quinto, and Mr. Jesus Russel Maninang.
