Learn Geographic Terms:
Make a slide show of geographic terms using Google Slides.
Make a slide show showing the cultural features of each of the 4 tribes. Include the tribe name, a photo representing the tribe, the citation of the source of the photo, a list of the men's work, a list of the women's work, the food they ate, the crafts they created, the homes they used, and other facts that would prove interesting. I have included a copy of the rubric I would use for this project. Use Reading Further 3 in Social Studies Alive! America's Past to help you. (Chapter 3 pp. 18-19 Student Interactive Notebook)
Using Google Slides, we will make a slide show of explorers. With your partner(s), choose the page that matches your chosen explorer. When you get to your page, fill in the chart for your explorer (see below) as a draft and then transfer this information to your slide. Be ready to share your information with the class.
This website will help you see each explorer's route: http://www.eduplace.com/kids/socsci/books/applications/imaps/maps/g5s_u2/index.html
