Turn to page 8 of your short story packet.
Get into groups of 3-5.
Decide on group roles (leader, philosopher, recorder, presenter).
Only 1 student needs to use their computer to play the video for the rest of the group.
Go to the Short Story / Science Fiction tab of our website.
Maximize/watch the video segment to learn about the issue.
Answer the ‘Apply the Allegory’ questions (questions 6-10) / ask Mr. Bellini questions.
1. Sweatshops / Forced Labor
Maximize and watch the entire video.
2. Factory Farms
Maximize and watch from 2:00 to 6:00.
3. Chocolate
Maximize the video and watch it from :55 till 7:30.
4. Conflict Diamonds
Maximize and watch the whole video.
5. Homelessness
Maximize the video and watch it from 0:00 till 5:45, and then from 13:55 to the end.
