44 | AP Literature (+1 GPA) - This full-year course is designed to prepare you for the AP 12 literature exam. Summer prep includes an estimated 18 hours of work, which includes one 600-page novel and four assignments. Most of the reading during the year is elective and independent, but almost all grades in the course are based on practice tests and in-class essays. You must have a cumulative A in English 11 Honors to have this option. Mrs. Williams currently teaches this course.
43 | English 12 Honors (+.5 GPA) - This full-year course is a comprehensive exploration of world literature that requires you to read college-level texts outside of class, including two summer reading books. Students must have at least a cumulative 'B' in English 11 Honors to have this option. Mr. Wilson currently teaches this course.
42 | English 12 ย - This full-year "regular" English course involves mostly excerpts of world literature texts and writing assignments focused on building college-level skills.ย Mr. Jack and Mrs. Hipkins currently teach this course.
45/55 | English 12 - This course is designed for students who will not attend college and/or who have significant struggles writing. None of you should take this course.
Public Speaking | ๐ฃ๏ธ This is now a college-in-high school course with a 5.0 weight. Only juniors, seniors, and gifted sophomores may take the course.
