The Wellness Council of Boyertown invites you to join us at New Ridge Fellowship in Gilbertsville on October 2nd from 5pm-8pm for our FREE obstacle course event. This is a completely free event, but registration is required, and SPACE IS LIMITED, so be sure to register today!

Child's Play Challenge Course is built from real, purpose-driven obstacles inspired by military and ninja-style training — thoughtfully designed to deliver movement, momentum, and meaningful engagement for all ages and abilities.

This isn’t unstructured play. Each element is intentionally sequenced into a guided experience that builds confidence, encourages teamwork, and keeps participants moving. Led by their trained Course Masters, every run becomes part of a high-energy, fully facilitated flow from start to finish.

The same core obstacles adapt seamlessly for children, teens, and adults. Whether someone needs support, modification, or an added challenge, their team adjusts in real time — so every participant can step up, stay engaged, and Crush the Course.

Along with the main obstacle course attraction, we will have wellness-centered vendors and other family friendly activities including:

Lehigh Valley Health Network part of Jefferson Health - Engage with colleagues to learn about services located the Health Center at Gilbertsville including Adult & Pediatric Rehabilitation, Orthopedics and Cardiology.

The Magic Speech Bus - Stop by to say hello, ask questions about your child's speech and language development, pick up some helpful resources, and take a peek inside the Magic Speech Bus!

Samana Holistic Center - Come move, breathe, balance, and relax doing yoga poses under the guidance of Samana's lead trainer and Samana Yoga Foundation's YTT students.

New Hanover Fire and Rescue, Gilbertsville Fire and Rescue, & Boyertown Fire & Rescue - Kick off Fire Prevention Month with our local fire departments! Fire prevention activities in the parking lot, and house recruitment information inside.

Boyertown Area Multi-Service - Learn how Multi-Service provides resources and services to meet unfulfilled human and community needs in the greater Boyertown area.

Preston's Pantry - Established in 2019 in memory of Preston Dray, who tragically lost his life that same year. Preston's Pantry is a program of Boyertown Area Multi-Service dedicated to reducing food insecurity in and around the area.

The Wellness Council of Boyertown 11th Annual Boyertown Turkey Trot registration is OPEN! Join us on Thanksgiving morning, November 26th, and a part of this beloved community tradition. This event is held in memory of Cliff Reigner and brings families and friends together to start the holiday with health, fitness, and gratitude. 

There will be awards presented to the top overall male and female, as well as the 3 winners across multiple age brackets for the 5k race. All 5k and 1 Mile registrations will receive a Custom Medal and T-Shirt. Last year's race welcomed more than 1,100 participants!
