The Wellness Fair, hosted annually by the Wellness Council of Boyertown, is a vibrant community event focused on promoting health, wellness, and family fun for all ages. Held each spring at Boyertown Senior High School, the fair brings together local businesses, health organizations, schools, and families to celebrate and support healthy living throughout the Boyertown area.
This free event offers something for everyone:
A Community Impact Walk and the energetic “Running of the Bears” kick off the day with fun and fitness.
Dozens of wellness vendors and exhibitors provide information, samples, and resources on physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
Live demonstrations, door prizes, and interactive activities keep the day exciting and engaging.
Special events like Senior Walking Bingo and the popular Kids' Celebrity Chef healthy cooking challenge offer unique ways to get involved and inspired.
Whether you're coming to learn, move, cook, or connect, the Wellness Fair is your opportunity to engage with your community in a positive and healthy way.

The Wellness Council of Boyertown started the Boyertown 1-Mile Challenge in 2014. Each lap (400m) is a different fitness movement, starting with a Bear Crawl, then Burpee Broad Jumps, then Walking Lunges, and finishing with Running. This challenge can be completed as an Individual or as a Team of 2 or 4. When completing as a team, you will split each lap by the number of participants in your team.
This year we are implementing a friendly competition between two of our sponsors, Bear's Den Fitness and Boyertown YMCA. The gym that has the largest number of participants will win this year's Boyertown 1-Mile Challenge and will receive 3 months of advertising on the big screen Boyertown State Theater. We will also be doing a Cup Relay Race at the end of the event. 4 chosen members of each gym will do 1/4 of a lap of each of the 4 fitness movements, relay style. The winning gym will receive their name engraved in our 1-Mile Challenge Cup, display rights for the cup in their gym until next year's challenge, and bragging rights of course! There are no age restrictions.
