Miss Halpin | 3rd Grade - Meet Miss Halpin

This is my third year here at GES teaching 3rd grade! I have had a passion for teaching ever since I was in elementary school! I love getting to be in the classroom every day and working with children!

I earned my B.S. from Bloomsburg University in Early Education and Deaf Education along with completing a minor in American Sign Language. We learn a new sign every morning! I am currently earning my M.S. from Gannon University in Curriculum and Instruction with a STEM Certification.

I really enjoy spending time with my dog Hershey, going to the beach, any and all things Disney, traveling and exploring new places in the world, and reading new books!

He is full of energy and loves to chase squirrels!

My favorite animal is a giraffe! This is one I saw when I was at Animal Kingdom!

I love going to Magic Kingdom! It's my favorite park!

I’m really passionate about sharing my love of American Sign Language with my students and incorporating it in our classroom!

Along with completing my B.S. in Early Education, I also completed my B.S. in Deaf Education with a minor in American Sign Language.

I think it’s such an engaging way for students to explore a new form of communication and helps them connect in different ways! They absolutely love learning a new sign every morning!
