Digital Literacy

Add an artifact for each of the seven standards below. Bonus feature: Reflect on how you have grown in your use of technology. Address the following questions in your reflections:

  • Why did you choose these artifacts to demonstrate competency for each of the areas?

  • In comparison to other pieces you have produced, why are these artifacts a better example of your learning?

  • What are your strengths in the area of digital literacy?

  • How might you improve your technology skills?

Be sure to add a link to your BMS Digital Portfolio if that still exists.

Students leverage technology to take an active role in choosing, achieving and demonstrating competency in their learning goals, informed by the learning sciences.

  1. Check out this video I made. It's a composting video. I needed to show some research skills, so I thought I would do so through a video.

  2. Here's a presentation I made with a group. It's a simple presentation. But that was kind of the purpose. Within, you can see how we collaborated on various film projects.
