My seedlings have taken off and I am excited to plant my first garden at our new home. I am hopeful that the rain will pass for a day or two so that I can do that!
I am also exploring how to make worm tea with the worm compost. My strawberries have been very happy receiving a little drink of tea!
This little gem was gifted to me through a facebook post by a lovely lady who knows me well! Thank you Lisa Hurrle (Mother of PCMG and Carya) This brought a smile to my face!
It was a wonderful day filled with family and lots and lots and lots of rain! This is what we caught in an hour! Wow! My rain barrels are full and my garden is ready to be planted....now...if only the rain would stop!
I am looking forward to many things....
Hugging these cuties (my nieces)
Building and planting my home garden
Hearing the hum of voices at the preschool once again!!
Connecting with the BCP community!
Enjoying time at the family cabin once we are safe to do so.
I've been spending my days with my family, Noah, Kris and Tim. We are thankful to have Tim home during this time and have enjoyed playing some new board games. I am currently learning the rules of Exploding Cats. It's good for a giggle!
Work has filled my days with advocating for early learning, research and exploring ways to be in community as a program. I've had the opportunity to participate in government town hall conversations related to closures and next steps as well as continuing my work in the sector as a coach for programs that remain open. In addition, I have been able to take advantage of the training I am receiving as a coach to train/support the team with the Child and Youth Brain Development Research Project. It's been facinating chatting with the team as we discuss the many ways that we can support early brain development.
