I have been hanging out with my husband and two children (Anderson and Quinn). We have been listening to Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. We really like the accents of the person who is reading the book to us. I tried reading it outloud but we all decided that my accents weren't very good.
What am I up to these days?
Anderson and Quinn are doing their school work from home. This means I get to help them do things like science experiments and listen to Quinn's teacher read Pippi Longstocking. We usually do school work in the mornings and then have a bit of screen time after lunch. In the afternoons we get outside to play ping pong or soccer in our backyard.
I have started planning my garden and ordered all my new plants. This is a picture of some of the flowers I will plant this spring. I am very excited to work on a second flower garden in our yard this summer. I will also be growing vegetables in pots on our front deck. I may see you if you go for a walk one day!
I am also knitting. I am making myself a pair of socks with lots (and lots of colours). And I am working on some new toques for myself too.
What am I looking forward to?
I am looking forward to giving my Mom and Dad a big hug. We have seen them from a distance a few times but I miss hugging them. We have an old truck that we drive in the summer. It is blue and white. Maybe you will see us driving around!
