Robotics in Action
Students worked in teams to build a Lego code cruiser, research service vehicles, and then code their cruiser to act out the robotic mission to show how robots can be assistive. Teams worked with the Lego Mindstorms EV3 coding software to complete such tasks. The Computer Science focus is on the use of sensors, loops, and conditionals, as well as the importance of iteration and debugging. Some students had to add adaptations to their cruisers to complete the task.
