All hangable clothing items size 3 mos+ must be on a hanger.
Attach tags using a safety pin above the dotted line.
If using a tagging gun, attach in seams to avoid creating a hole.
Tags should be pinned on the upper right side of the garment as you are holding it (see photo).
Clothing should be hung with the hanger opening to the left, like a question mark.
DID YOU KNOW?
Pinning above the dotted line ensures volunteers can rip tags quickly and without damaging barcodes during checkout.
Shoe size must be on the printed tag.
Use zipties or ribbon to tie shoes together to make sure they don't lose their partner!
If using a plastic zip bag, attach the tag on the outside.
DID YOU KNOW?
Never tape over the tag barcode. Even clear tape prevents the scanner from reading the tag!
Use painters or masking tape to attach tags to books (so it doesn't damage their covers).
Group books according to reading level: board books, picture books, early readers, etc.
Grouping books together makes them more likely to sell! Use plastic zip bags to group books.
Put loose toy pieces in a plastic zip bag and attach to the toy.
If a toy requires batteries, you must include batteries to demonstrate that the toy is fully functioning. (No one wants a suprise when they get home!)
Children's blankets, sheets, curtains, bumper pads, bath towels, etc.
Hang items that fit on hangers.

Attaching a picture of an unassembled or folded up item to its bag increases your chances of a sale!
Secure drop side cribs according to manufacturer instructions.
Follow large item guidelines.
Include any instruction manuals you may have

At the sale, ask for a large item security tag at check in.
Boost your sale chances: attach a picture of the item to its bag if unassembled!
